Get a continuous view of your areas of interest to discover patterns, detect early signals of change, and make timely, informed decisions. With 15 SkySat satellites in orbit, Planet can scan the globe, imaging the entirety of the Earth’s landmass every day. The SkySat satellites capture images at 0.7 m resolution. With Monitoring, see changes of your area of interest over time and choose the right frequency of images for your application.
Product Description
Increase transparency, get historical context, identify change, and intervene quickly with the most up-to-date imagery over your areas of interest. Access new imagery daily, analyze deep stacks of imagery with our growing archive back to 2014, and monitor change broadly to task high-resolution SkySat imagery for detail up to 0.7 meters.
Leverage Planet’s global coverage to observe areas of strategic importance, whether at the continental, country-wide, or regional level, with a monitoring subscription that supports the scale of your analysis and applications. Obtain ground-truth data in dispersed or remote geographies, oversee vital assets and global supply chains in opaque regions or markets, and survey change across broad areas at scale to inform on-the-ground operations and decisions.
Four subscription frequencies are available for SkySat Monitoring: Monthly, Weekly, Daily, and Subdaily. A new image of your area of interest (AOI) is delivered at the frequency you choose. Please note that for daily imagery, an average of 4 low-cloud images per week may be expected. Sub-daily images may contain clouds and are not reimbursed.
SkySat Monitoring can be used two ways, Access and Download. Access comes with download automatically, usable on the Planet Explorer web app, to view your data. You may download the data both from Planet Explorer and Data API for further analysis. Please note that the AOI minimum is 25 km² (Minimum corridor width of 2 km) and the minimum purchase is €4,500.00. Subscriptions shorter than 1 month are available upon request.
